Partnership

Create more value for the people, organisations and communities you already serve.

A Fundamental Academy partnership can help you bring practical frameworks, experiences and follow-through to the clients, members, organisations and communities you care about.

There is no single partnership model. Start with something real, design the right level of participation, learn from the experience and build from there if the value is clear.

Possibilities

What could partnership look like for you?

These are examples, not packages—designed to help prospective partners recognise where a partnership could create value.

01

Trusted Adviser

Help clients arrive better prepared—and carry important decisions forward.

For accounting firms, law firms, banks, financial advisers, consultants and other professional-services firms, the opportunity is to strengthen an existing trusted relationship.

An accounting firm, for example, might help a client review performance, P&L, balance sheet, budgeting and financial priorities before a Fundamental Pyramid® experience. The client enters the room better prepared.

Afterwards, the adviser can reconnect around priorities that emerged and help carry the work forward.

Partner contributes
context, expertise, preparation and follow-through.
Participants gain
stronger preparation, clearer decisions and useful support afterwards.
Partner gains
deeper client value and a more meaningful role in helping clients grow and become more resilient.
02

Membership & Community

Turn reach and convening power into deeper practical value.

For institutes, associations, chambers, member organisations, industry bodies and economic-development organisations, the opportunity is to create substantial value for a community you already bring together.

A partner can identify cohorts, communicate well, help participants prepare and reconnect people afterwards.

Different cohorts may want different things: one might welcome mentors and closer involvement; another may prefer the partner simply to make the experience possible and then give people room.

Partner contributes
reach, trust, communications and convening power.
Participants gain
access to a substantial experience through an organisation they already know.
Partner gains
deeper member or community value and a platform that can evolve over time.
03

Impact & Causes

Put resources, people and capability behind organisations and causes you want to see succeed.

A corporate, foundation, financial-services firm or institution might sponsor several charities, social enterprises or community organisations into a Multi-Organisation experience, or invest more deeply in one organisation through a Private experience.

The contribution can extend beyond funding to facilities, expertise, mentors, emerging leaders or senior talent.

Partner contributes
funding, people, expertise, facilities and relationships.
Participants gain
access to capability-building experiences and stronger support around the work that follows.
Partner gains
community impact, stronger relationships with causes it values and meaningful people-development opportunities.
04

Founder & Venture

Help build a stronger pipeline of founders, ventures and organisations in your region or network.

For banks, councils, universities, investors, economic-development organisations and professional-services firms, Fundamental Academy can become part of a broader founder or venture ecosystem. A first cohort may be modest.

Over time, the partnership could add mentoring, specialist expertise, investor connections, larger events, checkpoints or repeat cohorts throughout the year.

What begins as one cohort can, where the evidence supports it, become a repeatable regional or sector platform.

Partner contributes
relationships, place, credibility, expertise, funding and access to an ecosystem.
Participants gain
stronger organisations, clearer priorities and more useful connections.
Partner gains
a practical and visible way to strengthen the founder and venture ecosystem it wants to see flourish.

Principles

What makes a partnership great.

A great partnership is not defined by how much the partner participates, how large the programme becomes, or how quickly a commercial model is formalised.

It is defined by whether the partnership creates real value for the people, organisations and communities it is intended to serve.

01

Start with something real

Begin with one cohort, one Academy experience and one participation design.

A pilot gives everyone the opportunity to learn from real participants, understand where the value sits and decide what should happen next.

02

Design around the people being served

Shape the partnership around the needs of participants, not around the visibility or convenience of either organisation.

Different cohorts may need different kinds of support.

03

Participate with purpose

More participation does not automatically create more value.

A partner may be highly involved during preparation, deliberately less visible during the experience, and closely involved again during follow-up.

04

Protect privacy and candour

Privacy is fundamental.

Participants need sufficient confidence to talk openly about performance, challenges, ambitions and organisational realities.

05

Communicate generously

Good communication creates repeated moments of touch and care.

Articles, short videos, e-communications, prompts, briefings and follow-up material can help participants prepare well, feel supported and stay connected to the work.

Some of the most valuable partner contributions happen before and after the room.

06

Learn, measure and adapt

Every pilot should create a deliberate feedback loop.

Look at Performance · Suitability · Impact.

What worked? What did participants value? Where did the partner add value? What would be even better if?

07

Let the economics follow demonstrated value

Discuss the broad commercial principles early, but do not over-engineer the mature model before the partnership has been tested.

Run something real. Understand the strategic and financial value created. Then refine the arrangement using evidence.

Participation

Design the participation around the people.

Every Academy experience moves through three stages: Prepare, Conduct and Follow-up.

And the same partner can use different participation patterns for different cohorts.

PatternPrepareConductFollow-upWhat it means
CatalystMake something valuable possible.

The partner helps make the opportunity possible, gives participants room to work, then stays involved enough to support useful follow-up.

The partner introduces the opportunity, communicates it well and may provide resources, facilities or sponsorship—then gives participants room to work.

BookendsHelp people arrive ready and carry the work forward.

Strong involvement before and after, while protecting the independence of the room itself.

The partner adds substantial value before the experience and again afterwards, while deliberately protecting the independence of the room itself.

MomentumGive people room to discover what matters, then help them move it.

Light involvement before and during the experience; stronger involvement afterwards once participants identify what matters.

Participants identify what matters. The partner then becomes more involved through useful expertise, relationships, resources or support.

Illustrative participation patterns—not packages, tiers or ratings. More filled circles indicate greater partner involvement at that stage, not a better partnership.

Get started

Start small enough to learn. Build only when the evidence supports it.

A strong partnership does not need to begin with a long-term commitment.

It can begin with one carefully designed experience, learn from what happens, and grow only when the evidence says it should.

01

Pilot

Start with something real.

Choose one cohort, one Academy experience and one agreed participation design. Agree what participants should gain, what the partner wants to learn and what would make the pilot worthwhile.

02

Checkpoint

Make time to understand the value created.

Performance · Suitability · Impact

Hold an Impact & Value Checkpoint. What worked? What did participants value? Where did the partner add value? Was the participation pattern right?

03

Adapt

Keep what worked. Improve what should be better.

Refine the next experience using evidence from participants and the partnership itself. Change the cohort, communications, preparation, follow-up, participation, timing or commercial arrangement where needed.

04

Repeat

Test whether the value can be created again.

Run another cohort, another application or another participation pattern. Repeating the work helps determine whether something can become reliably valuable over time.

05

Platform

Build something repeatable when the evidence supports it.

Where value continues, the model can evolve into a member series, regional initiative, annual calendar, quarterly programme or another repeatable platform.

Scale is not the objective in itself.

The objective is the right level of activity, at the right cadence, for the value being created.

Commercial

Commercial arrangements should fit the partnership.

There is no standard commercial structure for a Fundamental Academy partnership. A partner might contribute funding, facilities, communications, expertise, people or other resources. Costs may be shared, participation may be sponsored or subsidised and, where the model supports it, the partnership may become a revenue source for the partner.

We prefer to discuss the broad commercial principles early, then use real experience and evidence to refine an arrangement that works for everyone.

Start

Start with something worth trying.

One cohort. One Academy experience. One participation design.

We can shape a practical first step around the people you want to serve, agree what success should look like, and build in the checkpoint needed to learn from it.

No long-term commitment is required before the pilot.

If the value is clear, we can decide together what deserves to happen next.
